Biography

Giselle is a passionate musician who aspires to be a Music Therapist. She is currently taking a Degree in LASALLE College of the Arts, majoring in Music (Composition and Arranging). It has always been a desirable dream of hers to inspire people through her music compositions. She believes that music can be a powerful source of expressing one's emotions and thoughts. Combining her passion in music and working with adolescents suffering from Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), she ventured into the field of music therapy through various workshops and sessions. Slowly but surely, her knowledge in music therapy further expanded when she volunteered to assist in conducting multiple therapy sessions at St. Joseph Nursing Home.

Since young, she joined the Symphony Band as a Xylophonist for 3 years and as a Zhong Ruan player and student conductor in the Chinese Orchestra for another 5 years. She continued to lead her team of musicians through many performances such as the Singapore Youth Festival (SYF) and KROCK Concert series in Esplanade. Apart from these, she also completed her ABRSM Grade 5  in Piano and a NUS Grade 5 in Zhong Ruan. Her music path expanded from performing in a small neighbourhood school, to platforms like Esplanade, Victor Concert Hall, and all the way to Hong Kong.
